I really like this idea (and plan to use it myself in my next SJ
campaign). Adam's right that it was a *very* long time ago, but it could
still work out. Incidentally, did you mean that perhaps the ogre magi
were illithid enforcers/overseers, or that regular ogres were? I prefer
the idea of ogre magi being the more trusted overseers, with ogres as
slaves.
