You can tell that, can you?  Can you tell that I am one of the Athas.org
helpers, too?

Static didn't have to sign a contract.  Have you read the contracts?  Do
they give fansites exclusivity for everything regarding the license of the
settings?

Even if they "made" him feel someway, does it really not matter what he
does?

You haven't even seen the issue yet, nothing is proven.  For all you know it
is 50 pages of ship design and ship-to-ship combat rules, thrown in with an
adventure.

My point was that all of the "official" fansites are getting the same
treatment right now.  Athas.org has heard not one single word from WotC
about the licensing of Dark Sun for a TV show.  We read the news on ENWorld.

Sure it hurts our fanboy hearts, but WotC is under no obligation to keep the
fansites in the loop on anything they decide to do with the licenses.  The
settings are their properties, even if we love them more than they do.  It
would be "nice" if they could drop us a heads-up, but that is assuming they
have the time to spare to coordinate with every fansite.  Deadlines don't
always provide that luxury.
