I've been thinking about the tradesman myself recently. Fair enough, most
trading done with them would be in wildspace and they'd have grav ports (you
know, ports that work like water ports but using a gravity plane to hold the
ship), but not all of em, so I've been considering writing up a "crab" ship.
Claws would be useful for salvage (prolly only one, some crabs have only one
claw right?), the big shell could open up for a multi-levelled shop thing if
preffered to a big cargo hold, and it could land on land and water, maybe
even submerge a bit like the triop (after all, not all planets HAVE land).

thoughts?
