Though I do like artifacts alot (they introduce that boon/bane conflict
that's so lacking elsewhere) I think I can manage without my character
growing scales, dying if he takes off a ring, giving all his possessions to
beggars.....Though the lack of artifurnaces might be disheartening...[sniff]

Well, um, supposing our ship is, say, a dragonfly. If there are six of us,
we could take care of ships' duties in two three-man shifts, with room for
four other people...(Or, I suppose, we could have three EIN crewmen and one
EIN officer sent to make sure we obey orders). I don't really see much of a
rigid heirarchy there, except we'd have seomeone to make sure that we color
inside the lines.

Anyway. As a jumping-off point this sounds okay. Can't really think of
anything to blather about, except that the most horrible thing to show an
elf is a dead elf, so they would be looking into it quickly...And, if
possible, whisking in priests with "speak with dead" and/or "resurrection"
spells.

Other thoughts...Is most of the exploration likely to be, say, between
spheres? Should I bring my pocket winery along, say, for some company? :+}
(jush kidding, really)

And, like, the PCs are freelancers? And they're well-known in the EIN? What
level, about? If we're first levellers, maybe it was my grand-daddy, and
they figure I'll do just as well...

Anyway. 2k2's been a blast so far, I've been ill for all of it...
