Hit the books a bit harder. :) There is no such thing as a
"stationary" observer. It's all relative -- hence, "relativity".

Light is *always* travelling at C, no matter how fast you're
moving. It moves that fast for everyone -- the crew on the ship travelling
near C as well as the a "stationary" observer.
Can some of you physics types comment on this? Am I wrong about
all this?
