A certain desert....

Hi, all!

This may seem slightly off-topic, but I'm working on a special Spelljammer
project that calls for it....

I have an interest in the region of the Khur Desert on Krynn. Try as I
might, I can find little of any use about this area on the web or in the
published materials that I own for the DL world.

Would anyone by chance know more about this place, or could you point me to
a web site that contains such info? (In general, the Khur region as a whole;
more specifically, near but not adjacent to Goodlund/Kendermore, pre-Fifth
age, year 357 AC).

I could make it all up, but I'm interested in any insight anyone might have,
especially regarding what Khur *looks* like - from the ground, from the air,
and from above the clouds on a spelljammer ship.

I will need this for descriptions. Again, I could make it up, but I love to
give at least a *wink* to published material or fan fiction. In a
role-playing campaign, I've found that it adds spark to a gaming session
when the players catch the reference. For this kind of thing, the SJ mailing
list just might be the best place to start looking.

Since this a bit OT, if anyone has any info or hints you'd like to share,
