1. Do Illithid feed on something else except brains? I mean, h**l, a human
brain is quite small compared with most food items. Assuming a squidhead
needs one per day, an average illithid city (about 1100 heads) would munch
down two or three villages (not villageRs, villages) quickly. And they live
in the Underdark, with very few sources of food. And the'yve got to feed the
Elder Brain and the tadpoles. Is there an alternate solution to the food
problem?


They need one every month or so IIRC, from the Illithiad.  Many SJ sources
mention Brain Mold, a fungus that simulates the brain chemicals (that's a
technical term that one, brain chemicals) that they grow and eat through
objects that seem remarkably similar to multi-hosed bongs (remember the pic
in the spacefarer's???)


2. What is Neogi culture like? IMC, I had the following explanation
[Neogi view slave-ownership a kind of perverted sport. In their view, being
able to efficiently control, manipulate, and manage a large group slaves is
a proof of one's intellectual and other virtues. Both the number of slaves
in one's care and the efficiency with which one manages them are signs of

3. Are Illithids physically weak? How effective their slithery paws are
anyway?

I dont think the illithiad mentioned much on this subject, but I prefer to
have them moderately strong but not uber (like 12 to 14)

4. What are the main import/export goods the major planets/sphere
(Bralspace, Toril, Krynn, Greyhawk, ScroSpace, Vodoni, Beholders)? What does
the I.E.N. trade in? What do all those Sindiath Line ships haul?

well on my website below, each planet generally lists its resources and
economy, but in general again nfi.

5. Assume I pay an Arcane for a helm. Does the helm 'just appear out of
nowhere' or does he have to go/teleport to a different place and come back
to bring it to me?

I have them use those door knockers that open up extra-dimensional holding
areas, including storage of small ships.

6. What's the Illithiad?

a very cool book on illithids, similar to "I, Tyrant".  Unlike I, Tyrnat,
however, I dont believe its on ESD yet :(

7. Someone on the list mentioned that the Illithid trade with other races,
including some of the 'good' ones (humans, dwarves). What do they have to
sell and buy?
