Main planetary exports to space would be necessities--water, salt, timber,
grain, fruit, vegetables, leather, canvas.  Major space exports to ground
would probably be metals, gems, and minerals. Intersphere trade would
normally be luxuries, magics, and artwork.  The IEN, you might remember,
stands for Elven Imperial NAVY.  They probably don't trade in much of
anything; rather, they pay for goods in cash as they need them, and sell
captured cargoes as they acquire them.  IIRC, the Sindiath Line hauls
passengers.

Ask your DM.  It can go either way (he has one on hand or needs to order)
depending on the DM's whim.

    "The Illithiad" is the third and last of the race-specific Monstrous
Manual books, with "I, Tyrant" and "The Sea Devils".  It provides the
official detailing of Illithid biology, history and culture.  Naturally, and
especially since WotC has abandoned the AD&D game, individual DMs are free to
ignore all official commentary and set things up according to their own
tastes, so the Fionaverse may not follow this at all.
