Drow in Space and how they got thier, my muzings.

Maybe huge shafts, phazing, teleporting it just making a mountian out of a
mole hill. There are many human, halfling, elven and dwarven cultures that
not even KNOW of spelljamming. So what is to keep thier from being a Crystal
Sphere where drow live on the surface of a planet with the the primary being
much like "Lich's Tear" (a black sphere at the center of the crystal sphere
known as Pirtel Space, Dungeon Magazine #36). On a world where the whole
sphere is fairly dark Drow could live on the surface! No muss and fuss about
huge shafts, phazing and teleporting and plane hopping.
