More importantly it would require an amount of cooperation not found
among most drow.  Of course, who says they have cities that are SJ
aware?  If we use real life physics the effects of the sun
significantly decrease with distance to space is a great place to be.
And you could fly with the bottom of the ship sunward (sunny side
down?) so the rest remains in shadow.  With these things why would drow
not simply locate in space.  If they really had to I could see them
building asteroid bases but really, before WCC drow in space were
supposed to be myths.  In order to maintain such a status spacefaring
drow need to be highly nomadic.  Has anyone decided how phlogiston,
with its glow, affects drow, illithids, and such?
