Greets,

I am such a ph00l. This is a survey that can be found at
http://www.darkwoodforest.com/rpg/compendium/misc/survey.html :)
(I always forget that damned URL.)

In our last episode, Aaron Black said:
>I'm new to the group

        Welcome. :)

> so I'm not sure what sort of
>answer you were looking for. I think it may be a
>combi role of moderator/'sage'/and general people
>greeting specialist.
>In the moderator role...toss out some ideas
>(controversies, interesting subject matter, even
>fluff).

The list has a moderator. :) Check out
http://www.darkwoodforest.com/rpg/compendium/misc/SJMLguide.html
for the list faq and
http://www.darkwoodforest.com/rpg/compendium/council/index.html
for info on the Council. This survey is to figure out what
people really want out the Council.

>In the role of 'sage'...offer general thematic options
>where members can write in with questions pertaining
>to that specific sunject...

I meant sage like the "Sage Advice" column in
Dragon mag. The point of my query is whether or not
we should answer questions an an official capacity
(i.e. we set precedents in SJ). Keep in mind that the
survey is not a vote for what the council should do, but a
survey to see what people expect.

>and a 'host' or a 'greeting specialist' perhaps
>introduce the newbies like myself to the rest and give
>us a bit of history about what this is about and what
>you intend to do in the future.

Well, that's what the site is for. In case you
havn't scene it, "the site" in reference is Compendium,
and can be found at www.darkwoodforest.com/rpg/compendium/ .

>I love the SpellJammer theme and signed up for this
>board seeking fellow enthusiasts who wanted to share
>their ideas and experiences to help me further my own
>campaign agenda.

I'd highly recommend you check out Compendium,
and the various links on there, if you're looking for
ideas. Also, this lists archives are invaluable, if a bit
dull at times. (There's a link to 'em off the Misc page.)
