First off I like to apologies to Static and others for any behavoir =
I have shown that others deem "bad", I am not much of a people person. I =
am one of those individuals that not put my stuff up in the list for =
submission as I saw alot of submissions never making the grade and I =
just plain not like others judging my work in order to be put up on the =
web. The allure of Troy Gomm's site was that he had a "pirate cove" =
mentality and he put up material without sending much back in the form =
of feedback. Troy's conversion site grew rapidly and others could glean =
material far more quickly then waiting for the "offical" material to =
arrive and be accepted and posted (I have noticed the submission of the =
Space Owl [[Mon, 26 Mar 2001 ]], which was posted in the list still not =
up on offical site -- I not want the some 30 conversions I have made to =
be sitting idle for months on end).
As for my material that is posted up on my site, Static or others at =
the Compendium can consider all that material as "submissions", as I not =
plan on posting to the list my submissions (all the Seeker High Council =
need to do is view source and copy my page, and then make changes to =
code to fall in line with thier codes -- so no real need to send it to =
them).=20
I have resubscribe to the LIST as it is easier to see interesting =
material such as the Space Owl and Witchlight Warlock, then to go to =
http://209.67.104.4/archives/spelljammer-l.html to view what has been =
posted recently.
I like the new look to the Compendium (Static is alot better at =
"coding" then any of my efforts). I love the spelljamming setting and =
think that of all the settings ever made by TSR, it is the best and most =
unique they ever produced. It is for this reason I have made what =
conversion I have made and will likely to continue doing so. I am also =
working on new material that are not conversions but will not likely put =
those up till I feel I have converted all that I will convert. May the =
Compendium continue to prosper (and be more timely on the conversions).
After this post I will likely be a "lurker" looking on to unique =
material such as the Witchlignt Warlock.
