Not really. Canon is and always has been defined as the material published
by TSR (I don't think WotC was in control during the Spelljammer product run,
but I could be wrong) for Spelljammer, and those things published on the
Compendium site. There may be differing interpretations of it, and certain
systemic things (such as level and class limitations based on race) may fall
by the wayside in converting from AD&D to the d20 system (however much I may
argue against it) in the name of system compatibility. Nevertheless, there
is no quarrel in what is canon; the question is whether it is setting canon
or system canon.
