It isn't Leroy. The list is sponsored by WOTC. According to the canon rules published by WOTC for both settings, DarkSun and SpellJammer are mutually incompatible because of the major difference in the magic systems of DarkSun and the rest of the AD&D multiverse. Since they're incompatible, and this is a SpellJammer list, DarkSun is off-topic. But, several people have, in the past, wanted to discuss a twisting of the rules so that we can open the sphere that Athas is in to spelljamming. But these lists are about adding to, not twisting, the rules of the campaign settings, so such discussions are also off topic. Maybe it's just because I'm new here, but what does Leroy have against the idea of DarkSun? ******************************************************************** The D&D; Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/Welcome.asp The Spelljammer Homepage: http://www.darkwoodforest.com/rpg/compendium/ To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@??????.???????.com with UNSUB SPELLJAMMER-L in the body of the message.
