Oops, I sent my reply to this part of this message to your other message.
I hate when I mess up...
Anyway, as I said earlier:
I was thinking more of what people did in port and on planets, or other
situations where there was plenty of water. Obviously when people are in a
ship they are enduring various hardships that include a distinct lack of
showers. Though, I can see the occasional quick shower or sponge bath on a
ship that carries plants. Plants like grey water, so you might as well
take a bath in the water earmarked for the plants, anything to keep the
stink down.

Snerk. In a groundling campaign I played in once I developed an elf thief
who's method of getting money while in town was to play the role of a total
hick (actually, he usually dressed like a hick and acted that way for
grins). No one looks at the dumb elf farmer on his first trip into the big
city when their pocket is picked. No one suspects the hick of cheating at
cards. Or stealing jewels, or whatever.
I didn't have him play the banjo, but I should have :)

"gold, gold, gold, gold" "No, now you're singing the chorus, its 'Gold,

That said, I agree with your assessment.

Sounds good. Maybe the xixchil would get into xylophones, asside from
starting with an "x" I can't get the image of a crazed xixchil doctor
playing on a xylophone made of various sized scalpels out of my head.

From scooby doo, yes, but I just saw the Final Fantasy movie last night
and those quotes seemed appropriate for it as well.
