Re: I'm back

just got back from a long vacation and a computer crash. once i catch up
on the e-mail i hope that i can add some ideas to the list. i posted my
last take of spelljammer rules in the files section on the sj3e list for
any who want to look them over.. Sean Reynolds said he would be able to
give more in depth feedback after the 13th. so i hope to have his
comments soon. Either way i do disagree with Paul that we should drop the
conversion. we have all we need to convert to 3rd Ed. i think we have a
very good start on the conversion with take 8. it still needs some work
but at least it is a step in the right direction. Maybe we need to do
what the dark sun list is doing pick a team of five people on the list
and have them produce the conversion. what do you say Council? at least
they are moving forward and haven't spawned splinter groups all
converting the same thing and splitting into different camps and in the
process killing the fan base off. we have a chance to bring spelljammer
to a new group of games and some old ones who are returning to check out
the new edition, instead we sitting on butts and losing them to other
setting that are doing some thing about updating to 3rd. Ed
