Yes that was the problem with the SW rules however I can keep SW rules like some of the modifiers and perhaps some of the ship stats. I might even dig out my old Star Frontiers ship combat rules to see if they can be of any help. I remeber they were pretty good rules and flexable. As the DM, your word is law (in your game), but I'd like to point out that the SW rules are *abstract*. That means no map, only relative (and very flexible) positioning. If you're going to use a map, you may as well modify the 2e SJ combat system instead. That's just my 2 cents. Feel free to ignore me. (But you'll pay if you do!! Bwahahahaha!!)
