Perhaps rather than establish a new council, establish a second team to work
on it. Now let me toss this out. Dark Sun started IN AUGUST working on
their conversion. They plan to be done by JUNE. if we started a conversion
today, and we did it well, it would be mid 2002 before it was up and going.
Personally I'll not be creating SO stuff most likely, I've never felt an
inspiration in it, but if I were going to do the SJ3e, I'd start submitting
all of my work to every site that had conversion info, a and ask them for
permission to use their stuff. I'm sure that at least 10 people on here
have at least 1 thing a piece done. Also, perhaps we should ask Static very
nicely to create a double site, one with 2nd and one with 3e.
I'll talk to him about it when I get a chance.

When dealing with Nth dimensional magical space directions aren't exactly
meaningful.
Something like tiusium, that's non-magical, has anti-gravity properties
which effectively give it a negative density.

With all of these points, to me the answer is obvious: follow through
with the elections, as was the original intention, and bring in a group
dedicated to bringing the Spelljammer fans a 3e conversion, a group who
*does* feel it is their job to create a conversion. A group of people who
are not currently dedicated to other projects and who are not otherwise too
busy in real life.
