They have, kinda sorta. Why don't we get the starship rules from Star Wars, and see what they look like. Granted the book is bloody expensive, but its COOL! Dark Lord B0unty When dealing with Nth dimensional magical space directions aren't exactly meaningful. Something like tiusium, that's non-magical, has anti-gravity properties which effectively give it a negative density. -----Original Message----- From: Notha Joe [mailto:nothajoe@???????.com] Sent: Thursday, March 01, 2001 11:38 AM To: SPELLJAMMER-L@??????.???????.com Subject: [SPELLJAMMER] 3E Ship To Ship Combat: SJ and in other campaigns... Can someone summarize past discussions on converting 2nd Edition SJ ship to ship combat into the 3E rules? I'd like to see WotC come up with some basic rules for all vehicle combat, applicable to spelljamming space ships, airships, sailing ships, ground ships, submarine ships, underground ships, etc. Or at least see WotC stamp something on the net so campaigns can use these. Or if not WotC, perhaps the RPGA could "legalize" these for their settings. I know Living Spheres will be a unique campaign setting and I look forward to any net released or possibly mass/hand published (as a collectible?) gazetteer. However, I'd much rather have a separate 3E "Adventures in Space" and some generic, non RPGA dependant 3E modules first. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ******************************************************************** The D&D; Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/Welcome.asp The Spelljammer Homepage: http://www.darkwoodforest.com/rpg/compendium/ To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@??????.???????.com with UNSUB SPELLJAMMER-L in the body of the message.
