Ack...I haven't watched Voyager in years. That ship must have
one
massive subspace aboard it to hold shuttles; it's gone through what, 18
shuttles? Supposed to carry 3? Yah....right....I'm surprised they
haven't had an episode where they blow up like 20 shuttles...Kenny from
South Park has a longer life expectancy than a Voyager shuttle!
I agree on the character point. I didn't like Cruade and
really didn't
care when it died (and B5 at the end) because the characters were dry
and uninteresting (at least to me). Andromada does have some
interesting characters, but I just wish they'd add more.

Well, now they have the "delta flyer"... I think worse than teh
shuttles was the fact that tehse creature without warp drives kept
running into them again and again... hmmm:). Sure tho, Voyager is full
of "bugs", but it was VERY strong for one season. Actually, before that
season, it had gotten so bad I had stopped watching it. I decided to
watch the season finale (a borg ep) on whim and then i watched the
sequel, the start of the next season, where Seven came on board. I
honestly don't care how she looks, but she is a great actress and the
writers were doing some great writing for a season. Its fallen off a bit
since then and I only am still watching it cause there are only 10 eps
left really:) Watch season 3 or 4 or whatever the great one was if ya
can, other than that, *shrug*.
I'm kinda the reverse on you for B5:) I watched part of the first
season and gave up on it as a second rate show. Then later I watched a
few more and it had really turned around after season one. To me, the
characters were great up to the bitter end, and the ones on Crusade
(other than the Dr.. she was boring as anything) were very promising
too. Then again, I've always been partial to mages and dragons:) As for
adding more characters to Andromeda, I just want them to develop the
ones they have:) Then again, I like small parties too. More than 4 PCs
and things get very crowded IMO. (I prefer 3).

Trance would probably have some foresight feat or luck feat.
I'd use
Nietzs as a race of mercenaries or something, or ideas for hobgoblins
or
orcs.

Trance certainly would have that... but there's still more to her I
think. I don't think she accidentally took the ship back in time on that
episode... especially considering the last scence in which they show her
pruning shrubs. She's like a kender crossed with an arcane:) I think
I'll keep Nietzs as a group of humans... but I think I will try
introducing them (or something like em) into my Spelljammer campaign.
Just seems to fit. I think having them as a strain of hobgoblins wouldnt
work too well since hobgoblins are already pretty uncivilized and such
and so the contrast wouldn't be as good.
