I think the current trend is a bit more paper oriented. They're releasing
'edited' parts of current books. So you can get the 2 adventures that
didn't get into Sword and Fist. Or some such. I don't see any digital
books coming down the pipe anytime soon, but the idea is solid. Would be
really nice if we could convince them to buy fan stuff, then resell it as
PDF... Helping starting authors get a break or some such.

While we're on the subject:
Anyone want to speculate on whether or not Wizards will release new
products as PDFs? By that I mean straight-to-PDF's rather than
out-of-date products re-released as PDFs. I could see such products
coming down the pipe; they'd be pretty cheap to produce (no printing
costs) and could be a good way of pumping up current and old lines.
There's quite a few products I've downloaded I wouldn't pay cover price
for, but PDF is perfect (I can print the parts I want) and they can put
out as many products as they used to without too many people
complaining. Anyways, I don't know how well their downloads are doing,
but here's to hoping :)
