This strikes a chord.... Was it perhaps that Leaving the moon plane cause
instant reversion? Makes for a non-Jammer of course, as leaving the planet
kills the crew, but it would work.

I have to toss in here that if we've talking 3 moons, we're likely talking
Krynn. I'd go by the black moon. And that may be an answer too, pick a
moon that all the lycanthropes there use.

When dealing with Nth dimensional magical space directions aren't exactly
meaningful.
Something like tiusium, that's non-magical, has anti-gravity properties
which effectively give it a negative density.

There was a lycanthrope character in Marvel comics
that encountered this very situation (not the
Werewolf, but the Man-Wolf. Spider-Man fans may
recognize him). On Earth, he become a werewolf, but
when he visited an alternate world where there were
multiple moons, he transformed into the wolf
permanently, yet retained his mind and all his skills,
but also the wolf's strength and senses. Almost like a
vodoni. Might make an interesting dilema for a
character - would someone with control of the power
ever want to leave that world? How would the locals
react to a wolf-man in their midst?
