IN FR the overgod is AO, who does things like making all gods mortal and
sending them down to Toril to settle their differences. The reasons the gods
don't gang up and kill Lloth is more simple than AO said no though... To
kill a god you have to destroy its essence in its home plane, meaning that
you'd need to go to the demon pits, and wipe out the spider-queen in her own
web.  Then you get the added bonus of the LG Corrllion(sp?), cheif god of
the elves granting mercy to his ex-wife and the mother of his children...
Lloth wasn't always a dark power.

There are about 7, but only one is a Greater Power, Lloth.  There's a lesser
power for things that go bump in the night, one for assassins, one for oozes
and slimes, one for good Drow... I can pull out to book and quote portfolios
and names and home planes if you want.

As for WHERE ARE DROW...  There are actual hide in the dark, Lloth
worshiping Drow on Oerath, and Abirl-Toril.  The Krynn Drow are simply evil
elves, and the Mystra/etc. world has shadow elves.  And several mentions
have been made to the fact that either FR populated GH, or GH populated FR,
depending on your source.
