to some extent...however...as i said earlier...I think that whole rot in
sunlight thing is propoganda...and enchantment...I don't think it actually
rots..I think it's been enchanted to do so...that plus the PR of the
Drow...who don't want you trying to steal it..and the elves...who ALSO don't
want you stealing it...

absolutely....

 What would be the reasons?  What would you as a gm do ?
there are many reasons....with magic...and enough study..one can do
anything...

as a GM it would depend soley on the mage and the intended uses for the
substance...
