Illithid stuff does not melt in the sun man.. No offense but im beginning
to think u need to do a lil reading. Furthermore, TSR HAS said what it is
that gives drow magical items, and to a certain extent the drow themselves,
their powers. Through the books by R.A. Salvatore we get the intimation
that most drow are trained at some sort of a wizard school aswell as a
fighting school, and from the Drow of the underdark accessory we have an
explanation of "faeress", semi-magical radiation, that imbues objects with
power, when aplied correctly (which basically only the drow know how to do)

No they wouldnt do that at all. Example, is of drow surface raids. If that
is how drow waged war, my friend, they would not send 30 or 40 crack
warriors to raid small defenseless villages. Furthermore, while generally,
in drow society, males are domianted etc, we have been recently discussing
"rogue" drow, to a certain extent, like those presented in an artists
errand. It's fair enough if you haven't read this stuff though, I'm
assuming u r new to the list.
