Re: Drow & Scro all day

Dang. People really sell the drow short on this list.

I tend to associate the drow with "lurking menace" more than "pestering
annoyance." Here's a big part of what I would see the drow doing;
not using "melt-in-the-sun" ships, creating magic items that dampen the
light in a ship's air envelope, actually carrying whatever the heck creates
all their powers in their ships/building ships around portions of underdark
complexes...
Aside from all that, why assume the IEN can detect Drow ships disembarking?
Why assume Drow use recognizable ships if they get torn up by elf ships
every takeoff? What makes everybody else's drow so stupid? I would assume
they only set off into space when they have a reasonable chance of survival,
or at least the marginal advantage of retaining their powers.
