Sorry I wasn't talking about your ship to ship combat (which seems basically perfect to me) so I shouldn't have said SJ. I should have said 3e (or actually explained what I meant). I -was- referring to the spacejammers Character page (as an example) http://www.telluri.com/lin/dnd/sj-characters.html The changes to cantrips, improvements to classes, additional skills from childhood and the creation of Cross-class skills that everyone gets (Climb, Craft, Jump, Profession, Spot, Swim), are sort of far away from the published 3e. I think the conversion will work better (at least in so far as we have less to go over and it will make RPGA happier) if we don't touch "core" rules. I'm still working on the characters document and I think we're going to have to change some of the races in SJ a bit to get some balance going. I should be done in the next six hours or so. I don't mean to say you shouldn't publish your rules or change things for your campaign, of course. Just that it seems like a big ol' can of worms to open up. Graf PS At some point (soon?) we may want to start putting up some of this on the web (just so that we can have a reference everyone can see with everything we've done/suggested up to now). I have access to a low traffic website in the states or one of the established folks could volunteer a section of their site.... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lindharin" <lindharin@???????.com> To: <SPELLJAMMER-L@??????.???????.com> Sent: Thursday, November 02, 2000 5:27 AM Subject: Re: [SPELLJAMMER] 3E? > Hi Graf, > > >Some people have already made some pretty good strides on getting > >a working conversion going with the new rules.
