Also, the idea Of course the fact that the average hull is much more rigid, has more surface area, and tends not to be able to flop out of the way wouldn't have anything to do with it either. The fact that a person has a much more compact support system (skeleton or exoskeleton for the majority of races--those without it tend to be immune to blunt weapon damage like the giant slug) and fewer "key" points on a catapult stone scale doesn't have anything to do with it either.
