hi guys, i hope this does not get too off topic, because i don't wanto to
get banned as soon as i got in the list. ^_^

I'm an italian player and i've been sort of dragged into Spelljammer by....
hell i think anybody would just get at least a little curious about
spaceships that are actually space-SHIPS-.

That was 4 years ago, now, the Spell jammer setting did really help me also
in building my campaign world (and the rest of the cristal sphere), but
lets get to the point... i mean the questions:

1) Is it on-topic to post here stuff like ship designs, cristal spheres
(not the entire worlds but just a very brief description of each world and
their orbits, some peculiarities of the system, etc. etc.)?

2) If the answer to the previous question is "NO" i'm sorry, anyway, could
you give me a few sites that would be interested in them?

3) do you know where i could buy books from spelljammer? I just have the
boxed set, but looking on the 'net i found that there should be at least 5
or 6 other books that i had never even heard of. Naturally it is impossible
to find them here. BTW i'm talking about rulebooks, not campaigns or
novels, i prefer to make my own campaigns and novels ARE dangerous to my
imagination (i kind of slip on and copy the entire book if i happen to like
it. This makes me poredictable. I hate it.)

4) Is anybody interested into a PBEM? (please mail me, not the mailing
list)

5) I'm making up a conversion from "Star Control" into "Spelljammer" it is
kind of easy since most of the mecanics are similar (holes in
hyperspace/flogiston that drag you into tactical speed, absurd ships with
many races that look terribly similar to some of the AD&D races, etc. etc.)
I've already converted a few ships into spelljammer mechanics (the story is
already finished), but i need help because university is heavy and i am
having lesser and lesser time to spend on it. Any ship designer that would
like to help me just mail me. BTW after we finish, could we post the work
here or do we have to send it somewhere else?

P.S.: My sign is very big so i'll just see that i post only one message per
day, if it still disturbs you guys just let me know and i'll cut the sign
(*sigh* T_T) In case anybody wonders i'm 21, male, getting a degree on
electronic engineering (italian schools are kinda hard...)
