Subject: Re: Sphere collaboration
I know this may be a little behind the posts but I have a question. I've
seen a few people post to the group suggestion we use his or her sphere
to make into our group project. Why don't we take this one step back and
start from scratch. Can we make suggestions to the group as a whole
about planets, planetoids, special ideas etc...
and then compile the info for others to see and find out if it's
acceptable to the group as a whole. I don't think there is a need to
place the sphere in any particular area of the phlo. We could let the
individual DM's place it where it would be convenient for him/her.
To tell the truth, I find the idea a little humbling in a way. If no one
minds I think I'll try to do a little experiment. I'm going to try to
start a small sphere page on my small rpg site and start with the sphere
making rules in the rulebook and then if I can get some input, as to
what kind I'll post and ask for it, I'll start fleshing it out and see
how it develops. Whats humbling to me, I guess, is that everyone can't
make a planet, considering how many people we have in the group, and
expect to have them all fit into the sphere. By following the sphere
making rules I'll let the dice decide how many planets I can have and
then ask for ideas on what sorts of planets you guys might suggest.
Is this a plausible idea or has someone already done it or what?
Suggestions??
