Ha, thats only the disinformation campign of the Giff Naval Houses for you,
its really 12 thousand, muwhahaha fear our massive cannons.  No seriously
I'm leaving this as an issue entirely left up to the .....DM.... to decide,
and it doesn't say that in the War Captains Companion.

Of course, but deciding on becoming a swabbie or a jar head is a major
decision for each individual Giff, or gasp not to enlist at all.

Of course, but I was merely emphasing the importance of appearing before
the board as an event to be roleplayed out

Of course these are vessels are designed for use by Giff from the start,
and would have proper Giff sized rooms etc.
