Still want to slow things down:)

I know it might seem like we've gotten a lot done, but the thing is, we
have only heard from a small sample of the list. many folks are on digest
or don't get to post very often. Plus, I think there are SJ fans not on
this list which we might want to contact and make aware of the voting. They
should be allowed to participate, I think.

We have two volunteers to help with the voting, Thom Jones
<tjones1967@???????.com> and Kelly Pedersen <kelly_pedersen2@?????.com>.
While we wait for Static to speak, does anyone have any objections to these
two writing up an announcement post concerning the rules for nominations
and voting.

Since they and Static [hopefully] are going to handle this and have to live
with the rules, I suggest we allow them to come up with the post off list.
Then, we can let our friendly neighborly moderator Leroy Van Camp III
<malacoda@??????.net> :) approve the system and go from there. I think that
will satisfy fairness and expediency.
