Which which shouldn't be a problem with one year terms.

And with one year terms, they will get their chance.

I am not making rules here.  I haven't even accepted the nomination
yet, much less beenvoted in.  Personally, though, I am all for a
clean, well streamlined process.  If three months from now one
of the Council members needs to drop out, I feel it will be excess
work to have another election.  Let's face it, the SJ list isn't
exaclty swelling its ranks on a daily basis, and over a year
the makeup isn't likely to change much.

Yup.  But trust me on this one, from personal experience, it is
worth the time and effort to make this point clear.
