I agree with these choices, and would third Paul Westermeyer nomination to
the council. Of course Static is a perment member by way of the website, so
we don't have to include him in the nominations.

Question is how many folks will there be on the council? And we need a
swell, nifty, SJ moniker for the council, not a biggie, but it's something
to give it some flavor. As not to exclude folks, we could have revolving
positons in the council, yearly elections (or some other time frame), people
may want off the council for personal reasons and real-life concerns, and
could nominate someone to take their place, ect. I hope I'm making myself
clear on thses couple of points.

>>>Nothing personal against anyone, but I feel that most people that respond
and/or contribute to this list (and some that are just lurkers) will
probably want to be on that canon-deciding list and nominate themselves,
creating a long list of candidates to choose from. I believe that
nominations should be for members of the list other than the nominator.
Also, seconding the nomination(s) by someone that is not the nominator or
the proposed candidate would also be a good step.<<<

I agree with this, and I include myself in this. I'd love to be a member of
the council, but for the year or two I've been a member of this list I
mostly lurk, start some conversations, take part in a few. I've yet to post
my own stuff due mostly out of self-consciousness and for this reason alone
I'll not nominate myself. I'd like people to see my work on SJ and use that
to judge whether I deserve nomination on the council (then I guess I'll have
to post, huh?), and I don't think my own SJ webpage counts, and I won't say
I should be on the council b/c I have x amount of years gaming and I own all
the SJ products counts. You know what I'm getting at?
