This, i now think, would be nmot so much for a renewal os spelljammer, but to release a bit of the load from Static, and to provide an area where we can all do things a lot easier. > Teamwork is all fine and well, but very large groups can easily lose > the scope of things and a clear direction, especially on the net. Its not a group with a direction, its a place to put everything we write up, and i mean everything, so we can sift through, get ideas, help each other occasionally (ie with commetns to ppl about their things) > Personally I think that the idea of a council that decides what is > canon and what is not, is going to work best, since it is just a > limited number of people. > Besides, something that is not deemed canon, is not termed "bad" in > any way. The only statement that is made, is that it is unofficial > and optional, that's all. Indeed, this council is quite a good idea, especially with WoTC's req's coming in. Still.. think of it this way. We all continuously write things, some of it sees the light of day, and some doesnt. With a palce like this, we could put up everything, have a page where its cataloged by type, another by author, and that could give those looking for canon material a place where they can look and say "right tehres a good one, lets vote on that.. ok it wins, lets get the author to redo it if need be and put it on BtM". That makes it sound like a place where the also-rans go (if thats an oz term, and im nto sure if it is, it measn the ones that didnt get a medal basically), but thats not the idea. The idea is to loosen the load upon one person, and give us all much freer creativity by not limiting what goes up to WoTC's official req's. This way, i think, is a good way. Course im only 19 im wrong a lot ;)
