I have a serious question, i dunno if i should ask here, or if i should do
it privately, but who cares, he dusnt hafta answer.

Its for static.  Now ur gunna split ur site up cuz of this stuff with WoTC.
i was wondering...  As much as it gives the campaign a place on an official
site, is it worth having them braething down ur neck?  i mean, requiring 3e,
on material written by fans..  well...  i call that crap.  We are a dying
breed, and most of us are doing this in our spare time.  I thank TSR for
releasing Sj in the first place...  but...  i dont see how they can tell
fans what to write and not write.  The great thing about the net is the
freedom, not the restrictions, and i think we gotta remember that.  An if
WoTC is going to require us to do things, wll they can either withdraw that
requirement, or send us all free 3e stuff so we can do that, without having
to buy it.

Furthermore, they can give u a HUGE space on their site, and help you with
it.  If they wanna stick their nsoe into something they threw away, they can
stick their wallet in to, especially if theyre gunna requrie us to do
things.

Now.  If they dont wanna give u a free site, thats crap.  The bit about 3e
books is more of a joke, but they could at least give us a discount ;)

But if they are going to tell us how to enjoy something that you guys have
pretty much kept alive over the last few years, well they can either help,
or they can butt out.  They threw this away remember.  not the rights, but
lets be serious, they didnt want it nemore.  Unless they are gunna do
something towards all of this, well, my personal suggestion to WoTC is to
step aside thanx.  Don't ruin peoples free-given stuff with rules,
especially rules requiring them to purchase your own stuff.

And im sorry if that offends anyone.  but i dont like being told what to do
when someone has decided to do something like drop a campaign setting,
especially years after they haev had anything to dow ith it (and im talking
business sense, not the writers who throw us the god-thankful tidbits)
