Sorry, but I don't think the alternate scro would play out well. The majority (Joe Sixpack) scro was special in the weaponry department when he had a wheel-lock pistol. Assuming they could go from matchlock to flintlock would be allright, this is a simple change in technology...but they spent no time on flintlocks and went into modern arms. (Tommy-gun weilding scro thugs? steam engines? that is so early 1900s.) During the Civil War, see, they had what I think were flintlocks...but you had a ball, powder, and a little metal plate to go at the back. (and a ram rod to tamp the powder down) The plate is what translates into a cartridge. Stop me anytime here.... I also see this strange similarity between your moragspace and Shadowspace from Heart of the Enemy. Hollow planets, hollow sun, horrible catastrophe, world inside the sun with variant of an old monster, it's all there. (In shadowspace there's an invisible portal around the sun. No spells required.) The only other problem I have is the undead Gamaro. Who wants a base that wants to eat you? Try the same effects but mechanical, operated by about four scro each. Gnomes could build it. (wrong, but they would build it.) That is of course to say scro designed and built, not gnomes. Any comment? Sir?
