I don't get the magazine and I'm not a great study of such theories,
but I've heard of them. From what I *have* heard, the stuff is very
complicated and involve a lot of math that we (humanity) have only a
slight grasp upon. I think it's tied to the high level quantum physics
that is currently studying why electrons "pop" from place to place in an
atom, string theories, the possibilities of alternate universes (aka
that Star Trek episode with 10,000 Enterprises), exploring more
dimensions past the 3 or 4 we know of, and the recurrences of certain
electron patterns in the human brain (a "Well of Souls" aka B5?).
Anyways, I hardly claim to be an expert, just repeating what other cool
things science is studying right now:)
