Any of the more scientifically-minded types (in the States anyways) on the
list might be interested in an article in this month's _Scientific
American_.  On page 82 of the article "Exploring Our Universe and Others,"
there's a neat discussion of multiple variations of the universe with
differing laws of physics.  The cover illustration for the main part of the
article (on page 78) looks like a map of the Flow!

If the (D&D) gods created the multiverse in a "big bang," might it have
developed in such a way.  Let me know if anyone checks out the article.
