        AFAIK, there's two methods to make a cannon.  First is to take large
strips of metal laid out in a cylinder and strapped together.  These
were the early cannons, and had problems with blowing themselves apart.
The second method is casting, which is much more reliable but more
expensive.  There could certainly be methods I don't know about,
however.
