Fleets
The scro have the strongest fleet presence on Gamaro, of course. They
will have a minimum of 30 mantis ships, 24 Battlewagons and 16 Warboars.
These ships and their crews are permanently stationed on base and are
well trained. Scro ships at Gamaro are specially outfitted, being topped
out and armored with an additional layer of fine steel.
Additional ships can be present at Gamaro from the Scro fleets at any
time and upwards of two hundred have been present at one time. Ships
built on the Vice for the scro tend to follow the Gamaro models.

        Scro Fleet
Crews 75% Trained/ 25% Crack

Ships:
Mantis Ton 60 HP 60 AR 3 MC B Arm Std (Quality Wpns +1 to hit, +1 rng)

Battlewagon Ton 80 HP 80 AR 2 MC D Arm Std (“ “)

Warboar Ton 100 HP 100 AR 2 MC D Arm Std (“ “)

Each of the weapons on the scro ships are turreted and shielded. Each
scro ship is equipped with 5 helmseeker rounds and have from 3-6 (1d4+2)
rounds of Mageshot as well. Preferred types are Termite, Stinkcloud and
Blizzard. These are also purchased from the Arcane, and other varieties
are possible. Every scro aboard is a weapons loader in at least one of
the weapon types on board and each assigned weapons crew has 2
weaponsmasters.
Scro vessels normally patrol within a days travel of Gamaro, with half
of the force being out for a week at a time. Most scro vessels are kept
on the Topside docks but some will inevitably be in the aft bays for
repairs, refitting or reloading.

        Hobgoblin Fleet
Crews 35% Standard/ 50% Trained/ 15% Crack

Ships:
Scorpion Ton 40 HP 40 AR 4 MC B Arm Std

Hobgoblins inherited the old orc scorpion ship design, and the scro have
built them 20 which they keep and train as a permanent force at Gamaro.
No more than this are allowed at Gamaro and at times there may be less.
The hobgoblin ships at Gamaro follow the scro tradition of topping out
vessels, but they shun additional plating, and cannot afford the
extravagances of helmseekers and Mageshot. Occasionally the scro will
issue such items to the hobgoblins, but in limited quantities and in dire
emergencies.

        Bugbear Fleet
Crews 10% Green/ 75% Standard/ 15% Trained

Ships:
Super scorpion Ton 60 HP 60 AR 3 MC D Arm 1 Hvy Cat, 2 Lrg Cat, 2 Lrg
Bal, 2 Med Cat, 1 Med Jettison, Blunt Ram, 4 Ram claws

Bugbears man the new super scorpions that the scro helped them design.
There are up to 8 at Gamaro at a time. Bugbears are concerned with
dealing damage and heavy armor so they add a heavy catapult and a layer
of steel to the standard super scorpion frame.

        Goblin Fleet
Crews 25% Green/ 60% Standard/ 15% Trained

Ships:
Turtleship Ton 40 HP 40 AR 3 MC C Arm 2 Lrg Cat, 3 Med Bal, Blunt Ram

Goblins are mainly employed flying the majority of the Arrows. The
remainder maintain a fleet of up to 10 turtleships. Goblins top out their
vessels at Gamaro.

        Ogre Fleet
Crews 20% Green/ 45% Standard/ 25% Trained/ 10% Crack

Ships:
Mammoth Ton 90 HP 90 AR 4 MC E Arm Std

Dinotherium Ton 99 HP 99 AR 3 MC E Arm Std

Archimperator Ton 160 HP 160 AR 3 MC E Arm Std

Ogres have a token fleet presence at Gamaro. Ships present vary greatly
but anywhere from 3-6 Mammoths, 3 Dinotheriums and an Archimperator are
typically present along with an Iron Duke from the Ogre Kings presence to
attend to diplomatic efforts with the scro. In combat the ogres are
highly independent and act under their own volition. They follow scro
orders on board the base but once upon their ships they act only when it
is convenient.

        Drow Fleet
Crews 85% Trained/ 15% Crack

Ships:
Jade Spider Ton 20 HP 20 AR 0 MC B Arm Std

Jade Queen Ton 250 HP 250 AR -1 MC F Arm Drow boltguns, Casters, Warding
runes, Phase Cloak

The drow also keep an ambassador and ships at Gamaro, although they
hardly represent the entire drow race. These drow are merely members of a
powerful house that Lolth blessed and assisted into space. They serve
their own power and purpose by their dealings with the scro. The drow
have a jade queen present at all times, along with a full complement of
high priestesses. Any where from 2- 5 Jade Spider ships are present at
any time.

        Giff Fleet
Crews 20% Standard/ 60% Trained/ 20% Crack

Ships:
Clipper Ton 65 HP 65 AR 4 MC E Arm 32 bombards

Thundership Ton 150 HP 150 AR 3 MC F Arm 2 Great bombards, 6 Greek fire,
6 Med dual ball

Giff mercenaries are popular with the scro, as they are fearless and
quite effective. The scro find their loyalty, at least until the end of
contract, to be excellent. Giff mercenaries will often come to Gamaro to
buy smoke and gun powder as the scro manufacture both there and
occasionally will trade it for contracts. Giff at Gamaro can be found in
a wide variety of ships but those that do usually employ a large amount
of powder weapons, so the clipper and thundership listed above are more
commonly seen. As many as 2 clippers and 1 thundership may be found at
Gamaro. Giff ships are often modified to suit the particular mission
assigned.

        Bionoid Fleet
Crews 100% Crack

Ships:
Vipership Ton 29 HP 29 AR 1 MC A Arm 2 Hvy Dual Ball, 3 Med Dual Bal,
Blunt ram (quality wpns + 1 THAC0 and +1 rng)

The most intriguing presence on Gamaro are the Bionoids, the magically
enhanced warriors of elven creation from the first Unhuman War. These
bionoids, some being descendants of the originals have been cast out by
elven society and they have not forgotten or forgiven. Approximately 50
bionoids have gathered under one clan at Gamaro. They are used as shock
troops and special skirmishers. They operate 2 specially designed
viperships. The ships are built completely out of fine steel (AR 2),
given an additional layer of armor (AR 1) and topped out (MC A). All
weapons are turreted and shielded (+4 AC to crews), and quality built for
a bonus of +1 to hit and +1 to range. Each vessel carries 10 helmseekers
and various mage shot 3-6 in number. All members of the crew are crack
crew and a trained weaponsloader and weaponmaster for dual ballista (+1
to hit and one step increase in rate of fire). Several of the bionoids
are multi-classed mages and priests as well and have spell capability to
further increase their battle prowess. To date not one bionoid has been
lost on any mission they have received, and there have been many. The
bionoids are mistrusted by some scro but they are well accepted by the
leadership for their flawless performances to date. The bionoids have no
great love of the scro, but they hate the elves more. Most of the
bionoids are descendants of the originals enspelled for the first war,
but their memories and suffering have been transferred to their new
hosts.

        Mercenary Fleet
Crews 15% Green/ 45% Standard/ 30% Trained/ 10% Crack

Ships:
Triop Ton 45 HP 45 AR 1 MC C Arm 2 Lrg cat, 2 Med jet, 2 Med dual bal
(quality wpns +1 THAC0 and +1 to rng)

Warhammer Ton 130 HP 130 AR 3 MC D Arm 2 Hvy cat, 4 Lrg dual bal, 3 med
jet, 4 bombards

Shrikeship Ton 30 HP 30 AR 7 MC C Arm Std

Lastly various humans, half-scro and plasmoids acting as privateers or
mercenaries occasionally visit Gamaro also. Numbers vary as do ships, but
there is little loyalty beyond pay. Reneged contracts are few and far
between now as the scro will now send their bionoids after ships that are
known to have broken contract.
Commonly seen vessels include squidships, hammer ships and octopus. Of
note are two particular mercenary companies that have long been in employ
of the scro and can be often found at Gamaro.
The first is Flindars Slayers, a company composed almost entirely of
half orcs, half scro and half whatever. They operate a fleet of 3 triops
and are led by Flindar a half scro wizard that seems to have some
connection to the scro military. As such their vessels have been supplied
with some of the rare and valuable scro built weapons of quality.
The other company is Gralmon’s Marines. Gralmon’s company operates a new
warhammer and 2 shrikeships. Gralmon is a duergar, a gray dwarf with no
special love for anyone, but he despises elves above all. His company is
of mixed races but includes no humans or hadozee.
