Cool ships! I would like to add one, the Ichnuman. I don't have any
formal stats for it, but I introduced them in one of the Eternal Wanderer
stories. They are roughly 30 tons, with lines that cross a
man-o-war with a wasp. The elves use the Ichnuman as a scout and
reconisance ship. One standard feature on an Ichnuman is a small
spelljammer detector, suspended at the end of a very long chord that drags
several hundred yards behind the ship. Sort of like a tow cable on a
modern submarine.

It's this long filament that gave the ship it's name. Humans took to
calling the elven scout ship the Ichnuman, because the long filament
dragging from the ships "abdomen" reminded them of a terrestrial Ichnuman
wasp.

Since the ship is used for scouting, a major helm is the norm. The extra
speed and manuverability is useful for a scout ship.
