Ah, but you'll also recall that the particular orc in question was a orc-troll hybrid and had more than his fair share of healing ability (and brains; go figure) and was able to scrap with the best of them. That was why he was being elevated - that and the fact he was kissing the admiral's ass. But you are exactly right on the second point. Only a 'lesser' troop was allowed to command other 'lesser' troops, never a Scro, and there was always a Scro commanding the sergeant orc. Perhaps it would be better to term that a orc, troll or ogre could never get above sergeant or maybe lieutenant unless considerable battle prowess was shown. The way I understood things was that, essentially, if you kill more you get more. ---------- > From: Ben Wafer <bwafer@??.?????????.ca> > To: spelljammer@?????.????????????.com > Subject: Re: [SPELLJAMMER] - Battle for the Lytherian astroid > Date: Monday, June 14, 1999 11:35 AM > > Grey Knowles wrote: > > > Correction: The Scro will use Orcs but they are limited in as far as what > > positions they are allowed to hold.
