Thank you! Great post! I have something similar to the Church of the Sun IMC, but along a different tack. IMC, the pan-spherical being known as Dhum is worshipped by evil cabals who seek Dhum's awakening and the subsequent destruction of the spheres that they believe would ensue. Many spheres IMC have features which have been identified by the cabals as physical manifestations of Dhum. Like the Church of the Sun, Dhum is not considered to be a deity of any kind yet the priests of the cabals find that they are capable of casting spells. The cabals operate secretly and in most spheres their presense has gone unnoticed for centuries. They have been known (only by those who run the cabals, of course) to engineer the establishment of entire empires as tools to use in their quest, as puppets on their strings, as curtains behind which to move unseen. I'll have to look up some of my old material on the various cabals and post it. Been Had the Fool "I lost my soul when I fell to Earth.
