FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
TSR INC. AND BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT TEAM UP TO HEIGHTEN ROLEPLAYING
EXPERIENCE

Renton, Wash. (May 14, 1999)--The creator of the fantasy roleplaying and
adventure game genre, Wizards of the Coast® subsidiary TSR Inc., is
proud to announce it has signed a deal with Blizzard Entertainment to
develop paper-based roleplaying games for Blizzard's highly successful
computer games DiabloTM and StarCraftTM.

TSR launched the fantasy roleplaying hobby 25 years ago with the release
of the Dungeons & Dragons® roleplaying game. Today, fantasy adventure
games in both paper-based and computer-based formats are a
billion-dollar industry and have legions of fans worldwide. A strategic
partnership between the creator of the roleplaying game and one of the
leading computer game developers, Blizzard Entertainment, will further
enhance the interactive fantasy game experience and expose millions of
new fans to the exciting world of adventure gaming.

TSR will kick off the Diablo adventure game line by developing a
Dungeons & Dragons/Diablo Fast-Play game to be included with Blizzard
Entertainment's Diablo computer game. Other Diablo products from TSR
include a D&D®/Diablo Adventure Game boxed set to be released later this
year, as well as a separate 128-page adventure module with an eight-page
map book, for next year.

Similar products will be produced for StarCraft, Blizzard's biggest
computer game, with more than 1.7 million copies sold worldwide.
StarCraft was named the bestselling game of 1998 by PC Data. The
StarCraft world will be developed into a StarCraft Adventure Game boxed
set using TSR's Alternity® science fiction roleplaying setting. A
separate adventure module is also planned.

Best known for blockbuster hits that include the WarCraft® series,
StarCraft and Diablo, Blizzard Entertainment (www.blizzard.com) is a
premier publisher of entertainment software and is known for creating

record includes three consecutive number-one-selling games and multiple
Game of the Year awards. The company's free Internet gaming service,
Battle.netTM, is the largest in the world, with millions of unique
users.

Introduced in 1974, the original Dungeons & Dragons game continues to be
played by millions worldwide and has led to the creation of the
billion-dollar adventure game industry. The game provides rules for
interacting in a group-driven, storytelling experience in a fantasy
world filled with magic, fierce dragons and brave knights.
