Hmm...20sj ton rocks you say... wonder where I got 90 at? Guess I ought
to pay more attention to the thread :-)

There is no reason given for the weight limit. As for the one turn
requirement I assume it's for aiming and what-not.
I like the bombing run version as opposed to hovering over the target,
but you can only tow one-quarter of its own tonnage at full spelljamming
movement rate.

As for how a spelljammer interacts with the weather. I got that from the
Anchor description in the Spacefarer's Handbook pg.72. It says that
"there are times when all you want to do is hover in place. In space
this is easy, but in a planetary atmosphere, the ship tends to drift
with the wind, which can move the ship an amazing distance in just a few
hours. To keep their ships from blowing away, spelljamming captains use
anchors."

Hope that helps if you don't have the Spacefarer's Handbook let me know
and I'll post the bombiing rule if you're interested in seeing it.

Actually the examples were with 20SJt rocks which work out to some
considerable mass.

This one turn requirement is very interesting as iis the 1/2 tonnage
limit. This will balance the effect out a bit. Does it say anything about
why its limited to 1/2 tonnage?

Remaining stationary is accomplished by the capability of the spelljammer
to actively hover. I have yet to see anything that says how a spelljammer
interacts with weather. In my opinion they are under active control and
so are more like helicopters than balloons.

If you can shed some light on this let me know.
