That was the point.

If it did someone would have pointed it out and we wouldn't be having
this discussion.  Some of those creatures use a form of acid to eat
their victims so immunity to acid should be protection against some of
them.

Before they get thrown off by the movements of a dragon in combat?  I
doubt it.  No one ever said they had great grip, that's why they're
basically liquid/jelly/pudding.
