    Word 97's save as HTML function is handy and all, but it still
requires some work after that, to clean things up, and to format
it for my site.  But the HTML'ing part isn't the main reason, it is
having mutliple files to deal with.
    There will be a full HTML version of the entire net.book when
I am done with it, but for now it is in my sanity's best interest to
keep everything together.  One of the reasons is that the final version,
on my end, won't be in Word, but rather QuarkXPress 4.0.  And once
I have it all in Quark, I will no longer bother with the Word version.
The first version available will probably be a PDF, sort of a playtest.
If it is well received, then I'll convert to HTML.

    First off, no need for swearing, thanks.
    Second, RTF, while originally a format for Microsoft's Word, is
now a public domain standard, which pretty much every modern
word proccessor can read without a problem.  This means I can
take what I have and retain all formating with having to do any
extra work.

    As I said above, it will eventually be in HTML.  But the release
of chapter one onto my site is sort of a preliminary thing, not
the final version.

    If I find it is going to take me a long time to fibish the other
parts, then I might put chapter one into HTML.  We'll see.
