Or physics. We assume that the universe goes by the same rules no matter
where you are, and we have some fairly good evidence for it (in that stars
look essentially like our sun in the way they radiates, etc.). But you
can't prove it without actually going there. Science can't predict what
will be discovered, which leaves all kinds of "fifth force" questions
open. (Occam's Razor opposes this, of course, but since you're
presupposing the existence of SJ, you get to use that as data.)
