Just for sheer curiosity I'd love to see this conversion

Also, on the DoppleGanger Thread;
A number of years ago, my DM allowed me to play a doppleganger, and we
came
up with a system that worked.

In character creation, you rolled 4d6, keep the top 3
for all attributes save DX
Dex was 3d6, keep what you get.

The reason for this logic, was that since they change shape so much,
they
are not as dexterous as other races,
BUT
I could alter my stats by assuming different forms
str could go +/- 5
con, Int, Wis, were not changed
and CHA could go +/-5

The pc had a base AC of chain mail, but only when he altered his
appearance
to imitate armor.

ESP was taken to mean that I could (with an INT roll) discern what
people
expected me to act like, nothing more.

Over all, this character was THE most fun to play that I have ever done
